NOTICE OF BID
NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Fanwood for A Source Capture Exhaust Removal System and work incidental thereto.
Bids will be opened and read in Public at the Municipal Building, 75 N. Martine Avenue, Fanwood, New Jersey on Tuesday, June 14 at 10 AM prevailing time. All bids shall be in accordance with the following plans and specifications. Proposal blanks, specifications and instructions to bidders may be obtained at the office of the Borough Clerk, Fanwood Municipal Building, 75 N. Martine Avenue, Fanwood, New Jersey.
Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the contract documents by the Borough upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge $25 to defray the cost thereof.
Bids must be made on the Borough’s form of bid and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Fanwood, 75 N. Martine Avenue, Fanwood, New Jersey and must be received by the Borough Clerk at the date and time named. Bids shall be endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name and address of the bidder and:
“Bid Proposal – 2016 Source Capture Exhaust Removal System”
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid and made payable to the Borough of Fanwood as Bid Security. All spaces on the bid forms must be completed. The Borough reserves the right to reject any bid for failure to provide any information requested.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq. and NJAC 17-27.
The Borough of Fanwood hereby reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to any bidder whose proposal, in the Borough’s judgment, best serves its interest.
