The Fanwoodian is our quarterly newsletter containing news you can use, upcoming events, public works pick-up schedules, recreation events and an update from Mayor Colleen Mahr. All content is written, photographed, collated and edited by Fanwood residents. The Fanwoodian is mailed directly to every household in town and is available online any time.

Fanwood Community Television is found on Comcast channel 35 and Verizon Fios channel 24. Content includes a rotating message board with a schedule of upcoming events and, when appropriate, local emergency information. Messages about upcoming events may be requested in writing at the Borough Hall. Only public service announcements for non-profit and community organizations are accepted.

Fanwood Borough Council meetings are broadcast live on Comcast channel 35 at 7:00 PM the third Tuesday of the month, then rerun on both Comcast channel 35 and FIOS channel 24 on the other Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM. Video of Borough Council meetings, beginning the year 2014, is also available online.

The Borough of Fanwood issues a weekly email newsletter or “email blast” every Friday morning at approximately 8 a.m. reviewing the week’s events and looking ahead to events coming up. Additional email alerts are sent to our more than 1,200 subscribers in the event of emergencies, public works projects, traffic detours or other information essential for our residents. Residents may sign up here for these email alerts, which are cost-free. Your email address is not used for any other purpose.
