Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr and Economic Development Director Liz Jeffrey hosted an informative round-table for Fanwood’s home-based businesses on Thursday, September 28th. The informal gathering, inside Fanwood’s historic Carriage House on Watson Road, was a networking opportunity for the town’s sometimes hidden entrepreneurs. About 20 business owners enjoyed wine and cheese and heard Jeffrey run down the latest on Fanwood’s business growth and resources available through the town and the Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce whose Executive Director, Gene Jannotti, was present. Also in attendance was Ellen Cagnassola from the Small Business Development Center at Kean University, which offers free resources including classes to small business owners.
