An overnight snowfall caused a delay in the start of this year’s Santa Parade through Fanwood as fire officials assessed safety concerns. But the parade went off smoothly on Saturday, December 17th, as hundreds of gifts were delivered door to door by Santa Claus with the assistance of the Fanwood Fire Department, Fanwood Rescue Squad and Local 123 of the PBA. The 25+ year tradition is one of the most anticipated events in Fanwood each year.
